I wrote the User Abuse Manager a reply asking if she/he wouldn’t mind elaborating on the decision and letting me know how it came about; wouldn’t want to commit the same atrocity in the future. If I get a response, I’ll post it here.

If they’re banning you, you must be doing something right. I suggest sending press releases to everyone you can find. If you can get a quote from Atom Films calling you a degenerate, that’d be even better. Trust me, 300 diggs just from that alone.
